Airport Issues

What was supposed to be a 4 hour trip from columbus to el paso turned in to a two day ordeal. Although i arrived at the airport more than an hour before my 6:00a.m. flight - the plane left without us - seems they wanted to get an early start. Columbus - decided to send us to Newark - from Newark to Houston - Houston had no outgoing confirmed flights to El Paso - it seems there was bad weather. It what must be a scam. The airlines gave me blue piece of paper to call for a hotel. When i called the number they said they only had one hotel which would be 79 a night and a 23 cab ride - the cab ride was actually 60 - the hotel was actually the Hyatt Regency - talk about being taking advantage of - if my children would not have been with me - i imagine i would have raised hell but with the situation being what it was - i could find no point. I am headed back to the airport in a few minutes. I'm extremely tired - being holed-up in a hotel room with two teenagers leaves alot to be desired. Although one of my children has been a huge help and such a Godsend.

Texas

We are moving to El Paso. We have been staying at Ft. Bliss (Jim's new duty station) We are house hunting now. We love the weather - it has been sunny with blue skies everyday. Wish us well.
